Rainbet supports six major crypto assets plus a handful of altcoins. Which one you deposit affects fees, confirmation time, and whether your bonus is locked into a volatile asset. This is the deposit guide I wish someone had written for me before I started.

The shortlist

  • Bitcoin (BTC) — slowest, highest fees, most universal.
  • Ethereum (ETH) — fast, gas-dependent fees.
  • Litecoin (LTC) — fast, low fees, underrated.
  • Solana (SOL) — fastest, lowest fees, but bridge complexity.
  • USDT (TRC-20) — stable, very low fees, fast.
  • USDC (ERC-20) — stable but gas-priced.

For most players, LTC or USDT TRC-20 are the practical sweet spot. Both confirm in under 5 minutes with sub-$1 fees in most network conditions.

How to deposit, step by step

  1. Open Rainbet, click your wallet icon, hit Deposit.
  2. Pick the asset you have. Verify the network — Rainbet supports specific networks per asset (e.g., USDT on TRC-20, not ERC-20 by default).
  3. Copy the deposit address. Better: scan the QR if you're on mobile.
  4. Send from your external wallet. Pay the network fee from your wallet, not Rainbet.
  5. Wait for confirmations. Rainbet credits after the chain confirms the required number of blocks.
The single mistake that costs the most

Sending the right asset on the wrong network. USDT exists on multiple chains (TRC-20, ERC-20, BSC, SOL). If you send TRC-20 USDT to an ERC-20 address, the funds are gone. Always verify the network selection on both sides matches.

Confirmation times by asset

AssetNetwork confirmationsTypical waitNetwork fee
BTC2 blocks~20 minutes$1-5
ETH12 blocks~3 minutesGas-priced
LTC6 blocks~12 minutes~$0.01
SOLInstant finality~30 seconds~$0.001
USDT (TRC-20)20 blocks~2 minutes~$1
USDT (ERC-20)12 blocks~3 minutesGas-priced

Fee strategy

If you're depositing $100 of value, paying $5 of BTC network fees is a 5% loss before you've started. Two strategies:

  1. Pick a low-fee asset. SOL and USDT TRC-20 are essentially free. LTC is near-free.
  2. Batch deposits. A single $1,000 deposit at $5 fee is 0.5%. Ten $100 deposits at $5 each is 5%. Concentrate.

Bonus asset-lock

Your welcome bonus is asset-locked to whatever you deposit. If you deposit ETH, your bonus is in ETH. You can convert in-wallet, but the bonus value follows the deposit asset's price.

Implication: depositing a volatile asset means your bonus value fluctuates. If you don't want bonus-USD exposure to BTC price swings, deposit in USDT.

What to do if your deposit doesn't appear

The most common reason is "still confirming" — patience usually fixes it. But three diagnostic steps:

  1. Check the block explorer. Take your transaction hash, paste it into blockchain.com (BTC) or etherscan.io (ETH) etc. If the network confirms it, Rainbet will too.
  2. Verify the destination address. Match it character-by-character to what Rainbet showed you. One typo = lost funds.
  3. Open chat support. They can look up your account-level wallet and see pending deposits. Response time has been sub-5 minutes in my testing.

Withdrawal recommendation

Don't deposit and withdraw in the same asset if fees matter. Deposit in low-fee asset (SOL, LTC, USDT TRC-20). If you need to withdraw in BTC for any reason, convert in-wallet first — Rainbet's conversion is competitive with major exchanges.

Asset-by-asset recommendation

  • Best for new users: USDT TRC-20. Stable value, fast, cheap.
  • Best for speed: SOL. Confirms in under a minute.
  • Best for compatibility: BTC. Every wallet supports it. Slowest and priciest, but universally available.
  • Best for ETH ecosystem users: ETH or ERC-20 USDT. Already have it; no swap needed.
  • Best for volume play: LTC. Cheap, fast, underused.
